Baked Apples

Ingredients
50g (2oz) raisins
2 cooking apples
1 tablespoon of cold water
1 teaspoon sugar
Method
- Soak the raisins in hot water for 5 minutes (to plump them up) and then drain.
- Wash and core the apples.
- Score the skin around the middle of each apple with a sharp knife.
- Place on a pie plate and spoon the raisins into each cavity.
- Pour the cold water over the apples and sprinkle with sugar.
- Cook for 8-10 minutes. Allow to stand for 5 minutes before serving.
